Is cover available if an incident occurs while under the influence of alcohol?

We are unable to provide cover for travellers under the influence of alcohol where the Blood Alcohol Content exceeds 0.10%.

It is important to understand instances where your cover may be affected before you purchase your policy.

We do not provide cover for travellers under the influence of alcohol which exceeds a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.10% and would render them unfit to drive regardless of whether they are driving or not.

If your Blood Alcohol Content is lower than 0.10%, you must still take Reasonable Care to minimise the potential of suffering any Bodily Injury/Illness or any loss/damage.
