How old is a dependent child?

A dependent child is aged 20 years or less at the time of policy purchase and is financially dependent on you.

Your dependent child (or children) are insured free of charge when travelling with You.

A dependent child is Your child, grandchild, stepchild, foster child and/or any child for 
whom You are the legal guardian provided they are aged 20 years or less at the time of
policy purchase and who is financially dependent on You.

If You are travelling with a non-dependent child, please contact Us to discuss Your requirements.

A Single Trip policy can accommodate up to six children, while an Annual Multi Trip policy allows for the inclusion of two children.
Travellers aged 16 or 17 who are travelling unaccompanied are also eligible for cover, although premium applies.
In some cases, We can offer cover to younger travellers who will not be travelling with an accompanying adult.
