How long will it take to process a claim?

Your claim will be processed within 10 business days (see details below).

In accordance with the General Insurance Code of Practice (AU) and the Fair Insurance Code of Practice (NZ), your claim will be processed within ten (10) business days of us receiving all necessary information and documentation. 

Our aim is to process all claims within 10 working days once received. 

If we require additional information from you, your travel agent, or your General Practitioner to assess your claim, it may result in a delay.

You will be notified within 10 working days if more information is required to process your claim. 

According to the General Insurance Code of Practice (AU) and the Fair Insurance Code of Practice (NZ), we must provide updates on the progress of your claim every 20 working days. 

Once we have all the necessary documentation, we will respond within 10 working days from receiving each document or when we have enough information to decide on your claim.
