Can I get a refund if I cancel my policy?

You can choose to cancel your policy at any time prior to departure and a full or partial refund may apply.

If You decide You no longer want this insurance policy, You are entitled to a refund of the total amount You paid provided Your request to cancel it occurs within fourteen 
(14) days of issue; and before Your Trip begins; and no claim has been made against the policy.

After this period, you can still cancel your policy, however, we will refund you a portion of the premium less any non-refundable government charges that we have paid that are not recoverable. We may choose to charge an administration fee for any request You make to cancel or amend Your policy after the Cooling Off Period has expired. 

To cancel your policy,  we will require written notice and you will need to provide your policy reference number and the relevant details to complete the Request a Cancellation Form available on our website. The links are also below for your convenience.

Once this is submitted, we will advise you of the refund amount and confirm the cancellation with you. Any refunds will be paid onto the card used to purchase your policy.

If you purchased your policy through a travel agent and wish to cancel it, please contact your travel agent directly.
